If you like Ferrero Rocher, then you will definately like Nutella as well. My friend’s birthday party is coming up so what better way is there to celebrate her birthday than with a Nutella-centered cake?
I decided to pair a chocolate cake with Nutella frosting. The results of the frosting were amazing. I did a quick taste test and it is everything a frosting needs to be, creamy and chocolate-y and most importantly, not too sweet! No exaggeration, my mom had to tell me to stop praising myself over the frosting! The cake was rich and moist, perhaps too rich when paired up with such a rich frosting.
P.S. I need a cake stand haha.
Yields enough for a 2 layer 8” cake
1 cup Nutella
1 cup mascarpone
1/3 cup creamcheese
1 cup powdered sugar
In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the Nutella, mascarpone and cream cheese together with a wooden spoon or electric mixer.
After, add the powdered sugar and mix until combined.
Put it in the fridge to chill (optional).
